The 988 Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals in the United States.

RCC is dedicated to providing trauma informed, survivor-centered advocacy and support. Their team of Advocates are committed to empowering survivors and ensuring that we provide wrap-around services that address all needs, as well as the societal factors that contribute to inequitable outcomes. DAIS offers a 24-hour help line at 608-251-4445 or a 24-hour text line at 608-420-4623. They also provide services for safety planning, helping loved ones, legal help, support groups, and other services.

The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit organization for LGBTQ young people. They provide information & support to LGBTQ 
young people 24/7, all year round.

The Parent Stress Line offers a safe place for parents and caregivers to talk about the challenges of raising children and receive kindness, understanding, and the non-judgmental support needed to help prevent a situation from escalating into a crisis. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Crisis Intervention is provided through the Emergency Services Unit at Journey Mental Health Center. The phone number is also the one to call if psychiatric inpatient treatment is being explored on a voluntary or involuntary basis.

Briarpatch Youth Services offers several programs, including The Runaway & Homeless Youth Program providing temporary shelter, individual counseling, family counseling, outreach, case management, and a 24-hour help-line; Teens Like Us Support Group for queer and questioning youth ages 13 through end of high school; 

The Parent Support Program; and more.
