ULIANA SKIBICKY, PH.D

She/Her/Hers

Uliana was a Registered Dietitian for 34 years and has been providing psychotherapy for over 18 years. She has a special interest in helping individuals with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image issues, and individuals who are pre/post bariatric surgery. She also welcomes the opportunity to help individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, grief, and adjustment issues. If requested, Uliana provides Christian-based therapy and offers help to individuals who have suffered spiritual abuse.

As a person-centered clinician, Uliana extends unconditional positive regard to every client. She believes everyone has strengths, skills, talents, and abilities to build on; and everyone has the capacity for change and personal growth.

Uliana prioritizes a trusting therapeutic relationship and tailors psychotherapy treatment for each client. She draws from a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, internal family systems, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing treatment. In all her psychotherapy work, Uliana is committed to seeing her clients achieve their goals, recover, heal, grow, and thrive.
